The Four Kings Bar provides a comfortable, café-style environment where we specialise in a range of services for businesses, professionals and corporations
Our first floor Lounge Bar seats up to 60 people in comfort and is self-contained with private access and its own bar and toilet facilities. Music is played through a powerful PA system for discos and live music. A disco and/or live entertainment can be arranged at competitive rates. We have a full kitchen and catering can be tailored to specific requirements and range from cold buffet through to multi-course dinners. There is also a large patio area to the rear of the property. A range of supporting services are available including broadband internet, laptop PC, large-screen display monitors, video camera, DVD player, a professional PA system, colour copier & printer and use of flip charts & pens. Daytime hire of the Lounge Bar is £15 per hour or £60 per half-day. For social evening events the first floor rental is £150. Rental fees include support staff such as bar/door staff. Our aims and objectives are simple and as follows; - Provide a forum for discussion of the real issues facing small businesses in the town and seek out solutions - For local businesses to meet regularly to share & exchange ideas for reducing costs & increasing revenues - For fellowship especially in these tough economic times And last but without apology and by no means least ... So local businesses get to know the Four Kings as a venue sampling our food, facilties and services
Each meeting will have a particular topic and our first meeting in November 2011 was in association with Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce who discussed the benefits of Chamber Membership. Some 50 guests attended. In December our second meeting featured speakers on the topic of energy - how to consume less and better manage suppliers. HSBC Bank Commercial Division locally were kind enough to sponsor the breakfasts served by Four Kings chef Steve Reeve. Our next meeting is Jan 31st when 2 speakers will prompt a detailed discussion of web site usage for the benefit of small businesses, the need for on-going development and improvements.
