With its contemporary decor and ambience, The Four Kings offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Strictly for the over-21's our entertainment program is designed to meet the needs of the "older teenagers". So that later on Friday and Saturday nights the real fun begins around 9.30pm and we party until 2am with a strong focus on music and dancing.
Friday night is always Live Band night with a variety of live music from the 60's through to the 90's. Our bands are generally locally sourced and popular, regular performers include Portly Fat & Schneider (Wing), Engine Room (St Albans) and Secret Genius (Markyate) amongst many others. Saturday night is always Disco Night with an emphasis on classic music and dance tunes from the best of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Disco themes include Mod Revival, Eclectic 80's, Soul Generation, Motown and Old Skool. Check out our Entertainment Program for which discos are on when?
On alternate Wednesdays we have Quiz Night at The Four Kings! And its a quiz with a difference! Loads of fun and very popular with high value prizes. . The evening is usually a great success, due no doubt in part to the home-cooked supper we serve FREE of CHARGE at half-time. See our web site for details of the next quiz.
Occasionally some of entertainment events are admission by ticket only. Check the specific event to see if tickets are required. In the main tickets are complimentary but for some events there may be a charge.
